The Ride Along Program promotes a better understanding of the challenges, risks, and rewards of a police officer's role in the community.
Officer's work a 12-hour shift, and you may ride along for the entire shift or for a s long as you would like. You may choose a ride during the day or night, and on a weekday or weekend. Many people enjoy riding on a Friday or Saturday evening. You will participate in patrol briefing at the start of an officer's shift, wear a bullet proof vest, and observe the challenges, hazards, and rewards of one of our city's finest!
This package includes ONE ride-along with an officer as well las a collection of CCPD items. What an incredible experience or an extraordinary gift for someone considering a career in law enforcement.
