About the Artist
"I am a Cape Coral resident for the past seven years. I began painting several years ago as a self-taught artist. Recently, I decided to enhance my knowledge and skills as a figurative and non-figurative artist and became a student at the Cape Coral Art Center. I found the art center to be a great place to expand upon my skills and where I have met likeminded people.
The paintings I have donated for this event are all fluid acrylic abstracts. I love expressing my creativity through liquid art and it is very intuitive and unpredictable, just as life is.
Painting has become my happy place only exceeded by my love for dogs. I recently adopted "Merli" from the Cape Coral Animal Shelter. He has transformed my life for the better and has added the missing color of my palette. My next challenge: a portrait of him."
