About the Artist
At the young age of 35, celebrated Cuban artist, Orlando, is the nation’s proponent of “Magical Realism,” a delicate combination of colorful architectural interiors gently mixed with illusion. His original oil paintings and limited-edition prints are widely collected not only for their striking interior subjects but also for their remarkable depiction of memorable works of master artists.

A typical Orlando painting may include three or more representations of works by renowned artist such as Picasso, Chagall, Monet, Miro, Van Gogh, and Rembrandt.

Inspired by his three favorite artists, Peter Paul Rubens, Velazquez and Rembrandt, he continues to emulate these “Grand Masters” as he combines their techniques to create the light, drama and movement that clearly defines the Baroque style.
