About the Author

From the time she was a young girl, Patti loved writing and dreamed of one day writing a book.  In 2010, that dream came true with her first book, I Love You, Who Are You? Loving and Caring for a Parent with Alzheimer’s.

As a former caregiver and Certified Alzheimer’s Educator, Patti began travelling with her book to support those on a journey with a loved one with Alzheimer’s.   She quickly became a popular speaker at conferences, workshops, support groups, and care facilities which is something she enjoys doing to this day. 

In 2015, Patti wrote Magical Dogs: Love and Lessons from our Canine Companions.  Its popularity led to what has now become the Magical Dogs series, including Magical Dogs 2: Connecting the Dots, Connecting the Dogs and and the newly-released Magical Dogs 3: On the Road.  

A portion of every book purchased directly from Patti (in person or on this website) is donated to organizations that help animals in need, including the Cape Coral Animal Shelter. Patti was born, raised, and still resides in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, and is the proud, grateful mom to twin sons and grand mom to four amazing grandchildren.  She loves mornings, mushroom coffee, laughing, and kindness.  Patti’s hope is that her books always leave her readers a bit happier, wiser, and kinder.
