About the Artist:  Martina Kilgo

Martinia Kilgo is a hoppy photographer and storyteller.  Nature photography with special focus on the Cape Coral Burrowing Owls is her favorite topic.  Martina moved to Florida as a permanent resident in 2015 and fell in love with the Burrowing Owls.  She has followed the owls' life cycles ever since with her camera, and about two years ago, she started writing positive short stories with the little owls as protagonists.  One the Cape Coral Life Facebook page, these tales are known as "Stories from the Owl Patch."
