ABOUT THE PETSITTER DUDE  

I never knew that starting an in-your-home pet sitting service would take off so quickly. It all began as an “accident” when a lady asked the Executive Director of the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, where I was volunteering, if she knew anyone who could stay in her home and watch her dogs. Liz pointed across the hall to me and said, “That’s the only guy I would ever trust with my animals!” The rest, as they say, is history. Things just exploded from there.

My lifetime history with animals, growing up on a farm, in addition to working at two different animal shelters, has yielded me extensive experience in dealing with all types of animals, regardless of size or temperament, with a Positive Reinforcement approach.  At both Southwest Florida animal shelters, I worked daily with “staff only” dogs and cats, feeling a sincere connection with them that transcends speech. While every animal is a favorite, the most precious paw prints imprinted on my heart are from those animals with trust issues, fear biters, shutdown animals, etc.
