🔥 Description:
Prepare to be mesmerized by "Luminous Predator," a striking original acrylic painting by local Florida artist Kayli Perino, known for her bold color palettes and expressive wildlife renderings. This surreal depiction of an alligator mid-roar glows with electric hues of cerulean blue, neon magenta, and fiery orange, bringing this apex creature to life with vivid energy and haunting beauty.
The scales are rendered in jewel-like detail, with textural contrast that captures the rough strength of the gator’s armored hide. The open maw glows with a dramatic inner light — a powerful focal point that evokes primal fear and fascination. Set against a dreamlike purple-blue swampscape with rippling water and soft orbs of moonlight, this piece pulses with intensity and fluidity.
Whether you're a collector of wildlife art, a lover of the Everglades, or simply drawn to statement pieces that command attention — this painting is a must-have centerpiece that will ignite any room.

👩🎨 About the Artist: Kayli Perino, Peppy's Paints
I was born and raised in New Jersey, and I have always had a passion for creativity and science. I
pursued my academic interests at the University of Delaware, where I earned a degree in
chemistry with a minor in art. During my time there, I explored various art forms, including
ceramics, photography, and oil painting.

I now live in Fort Myers, Florida with a full-time job as a formulation chemist creating skincare
products and running the manufacturing facility. This role allows me to blend my scientific
expertise with my artistic sensibilities. Despite the demands of my career, I remain dedicated to
my art, finding time to create diverse pieces ranging from acrylics, watercolors, and gouache, to
woodburning, sculpting, and special effects makeup (with a particular fondness for Halloween-
themed projects).

My personal life is enriched by my two young sons and a loving husband. "Peppy's Paints" is
named after my husband's high school nickname, Peppy (a humorous version of Perino). My
husband and I met back in middle school, and I credit him as the reason I am where I am at this
point in my life. However, our journey has not been without challenges. My family suffered a
significant loss during Hurricane Ian, which destroyed our home and most of my artwork dating
back to middle school. Despite this tragedy, I have found resilience and am now able to return to
my artistic pursuits with renewed vigor and passion.

An avid animal lover, I actively support numerous animal rescues. My compassion for animals is
evident in my own home, where I have two rescue dogs named Max and Ruby. This love for
animals also shines through in my artwork, as my favorite subjects to paint are the diverse and
beautiful creatures of the animal kingdom.

pursuing my passion and sharing my unique vision with the world.
