👩🎨 About the Artist: Annabelle “Annie” Hinkle
Annie has been drawing since she could hold a pencil, and her passion for painting only continues to grow. She is the younger sister of fellow artist Savannah Hinkle and, like her sister, is a contributor to the beloved Pine Island painted pole project, with poles currently in progress across the community.
Entirely self-taught and homeschooled, Annie is inspired daily by the world around her—especially the natural beauty of Pine Island and her bobtail cat, Wilber, who often makes his way into her heart and art. Her work balances precision and emotion, capturing not just what animals look like, but what they feel.
