About the Artist:  Korie Sandridge

From Accounting to Art…

A CPA by profession and an artist by heart, Korie L. Sandridge has always held a passion for photography. From capturing her children’s sports and scouting moments to the breathtaking wildlife of Southwest Florida, photography has been a constant source of joy and creative expression.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Korie now resides in Estero, Florida. She and her family discovered Pelican Sound Golf and River Club during a visit with friends and were instantly captivated by the area's vibrant natural beauty and active lifestyle.

Korie's favorite subjects are the birds, alligators, and other wildlife that call Southwest Florida home. Through her lens, she strives to capture the personality, beauty, and playfulness of nature — whether along the beaches, lakes, or lush golf courses of the region.

With the encouragement of friends and family, Korie has participated in several art shows, receiving heartfelt appreciation for her work. Her love for animals extends beyond photography. It began years ago when her son chose to renovate the drop-off room at the Berks County (PA) Humane Society for his Eagle Scout project — a project that sparked a family commitment to animal rescue and rehabilitation. Today, her son continues that legacy as a veterinarian specializing in emergency medicine for small animals in Ohio.

Korie's work reflects both her deep connection to nature and her unwavering support for animal welfare.
