👤 About the Artist – Craig Dietrich

Craig Dietrich’s career began on the frontlines as a Naval Photographer during the Gulf War, where his love of storytelling and adventure was born. That same passion later led him below the surface — as a scuba instructor and then a pioneering underwater photographer.

Today, Craig’s portfolio spans the globe, from African savannas to coral reefs. His art has earned international acclaim, and his collectors include private buyers, wildlife institutions, and galleries around the world.

When not behind the lens, Craig teaches photography through expeditions and private instruction. He lives in South Carolina with his wife Julie and their two beloved pets, Bubbles and Salty.
